Eva Miškovičová, a Slovak multidisciplinary artist based in Paris, combines music, theater, and visual arts to create unique worlds. Through ethnojazz and experimental theater, her work offers a modern, evocative exploration of sound and storytelling.

As a musician, she combines her Slovak roots with contemporary influences, leading the ethnojazz quartet ĽAĽA! and collaborating on various musical projects. Her musical career started in SĽUK, Slovak National Dance Collective, singing in international festivals such as Colours of Ostrava or Pohoda Festival.

In the theatrical realm, Eva is contributing to diverse productions as a set designer and performer, blending visual and narrative elements to create deeply evocative works. She is co-founder of the Consorzio Balsamico collective with who she performed at festivals like Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes and Romaeuropa. She collaborated on Michal Blaško’s Atlantis, 2003, a film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won the Magnesia Award for Best Student Film.

She graduated in Scenography and Costumes at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Bratislava and in Theater Scenography at Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze (Academy of Fine Arts). As a degree thesis she created the theatre play Malva. Afterwards she was selected for ANIMATERIA, a professional puppetry course focused on different techniques and languages of puppetry.

Eva is passionate about languages and she leads creative workshops for children, teaching music, design, and marionette construction.
